Story behind the colored pencils
The colored pencil works are a response to an unexpected turn of events. The landlord decided he would sell the house I was occupying, so instead of rushing into the first place I could find I decided to send everything to storage while I find a new place that I'm fond of. I felt it was a perfect moment to work with a set of colored pencils I recently received as a gift and explore the possibilities. When it comes to working with different materials I like to keep an open mind to allow a natural dialogue between my experience and the medium to form.
