Renditions
For the past couple of months I’ve had the curiosity of taking a sketch of mine and painting it in different ways while maintaining the same composition. This may be a direct influence of one of the characteristics AI image generators have to offer, that of implementing an image and rendering it out in what ever style you want. So I was wondering if I could do the same but without using AI, for that would defeat the purpose of the experiment. I took one of my sketches, “H4UAP-01” (from the B-bots Collection) and began to conduct the experiment. It feels as if I just barely dipped my toes into some fresh water, not really sure if it has any current, if there’s some fishies at the bottom, what about plants? are there any? is the bottom sandy, muddy, rocky or infinite like a cenote on warm weathery day.
I guess the only way to find out is to dive right in.

Hace un par de meses había tenido la curiosidad de tomar uno de mis bocetos y pintarlo en diferentes estilos sin cambiar la composición del boceto original. Esta idea se centra en una de las characteristics de los generadores de imágenes con la IA, la cual puedes tomar cualquier imagen que gustes y pedirle al IA que le de otro estilo. Me pregunte si es algo que podría hacer sin el uso de la inteligencia artificial, ya que no tendría caso el experimento si lo usara.
Tomando el boceto de “H4UAP-01” de la colección B-Bots8 y las herramientas de la imaginación, creatividad y experiencia commence el proceso de jugar con las diferentes dimensiones que se iban presentando. Cada una guiando mi camino hacia el siguiente portal brindando una exploración abierta a la diversion del descubrimiento. Seria un caminar infinito?

So what did I discover until now? Well, that I could keep this going for quite some time, just now I have ideas for 10 more renditions and I’m sure that by the time I finished making those I would have more ideas but I have decided to stop the exploration since it was a discovery of creativity and found what I was looking for. We seem to have the same capacity as AI, its just that our production process is just a bit slower.

Que fue lo que descubrí hasta este punto de la exploración? Bueno, pues que podría continuar creando diferentes estilos del boceto inicial hasta quien sabe cuando, talvez un proyecto sin fin, en este momento tengo 10 ideas para continuar si quisiera y lo mas probable es que cuando las llegara a terminar de pintar tendría otras diez o aun mas. Por lo tanto he tomado el experimento como concluido ya que era un descubrimiento de la creatividad y encontré lo que buscaba. Al parecer tenemos la misma capacidad que la IA solo que nuestro proceso es mas lento.
